Communication: After discussing goals and expectations, a “walk-through” of the jobsite is done and the design process begins:

Lighting design and layout: several lighting solutions are suggested, with recommendations as to placement and type of lighting fixture to be used.

Reflected ceiling plans drawn to scale, can be provided when required.

Once a plan is agreed to, a lighting fixture schedule, a detailed list of all fixtures for each room, including lamping and wattages and any special notes for the electrical contractor, is provided.

Lighting fixture selection: at least three different fixtures for each area are proposed, with the ultimate decision made by the client. Visits to lighting showrooms can also be arranged with professional discounts passed on to the client.

Jobsite visit when work is underway to ensure the lighting plan is being followed and to make any changes on site if necessary and communicate these to the electrical contractor.

Follow-up visit once the job is completed for an overall review and for any fine-tuning that might be necessary, to make sure the client, is completely satisfied.
